About Stoned Relics
Who we are
Stoned Relics is an independent online specimen shop at stonedrelics.com. We sell minerals and meteorites, fossils, archaeological objects, and natural history and taxidermy pieces, each one individually selected rather than mass-produced or made to order. The shop is operated by Varando LTD.
What we sell
- Minerals & Meteorites: crystal and mineral specimens such as malachite, amethyst and obsidian, amber, and meteorites, listed with their dimensions and weight.
- Fossils: ammonites, fossil fish plates, shark teeth including megalodon, and other fossilised animals and plants.
- Archaeology: objects from the Bronze Age and later periods, such as arrowheads and beads, alongside reproductions and objects inspired by ancient art. Each title and description says which it is.
- Natural History & Taxidermy: shells, butterfly and insect displays, skulls and other natural history pieces.
Every piece in this shop already had its own geological, biological or archaeological history before it reached us. We do not manufacture anything: what is listed is what exists, so availability changes as specimens find new homes.
Where our pieces come from
Our specimens come from private collections and specialist sources across Europe and beyond. We describe each one as plainly as we can, with its size, weight and origin where known, and photograph it as it actually is. Natural specimens vary: colour, shape and small marks are part of each piece, so check the photographs and measurements before you buy.
How buying from Stoned Relics works
- Free shipping. Shipping is free on every order, with no delivery charge added at checkout.
- A ship-by date on every product. Each product page shows the date the item ships by, and the same date appears in your basket, at checkout and in your order confirmation. Once your order is on its way, we email you a tracking number. Full details are on our shipping policy page.
- Secure payment. You pay by card at checkout through Stripe. Prices are shown in euros.
- 14-day returns. If you are a consumer in the EU, EEA or UK, you can change your mind and return most orders within 14 days of delivery, no reason needed. See our returns policy for how it works.

Are the minerals and fossils real?
Minerals, meteorites and fossils here are natural specimens. Some archaeology and decorative listings are reproductions or objects inspired by ancient art, and the title or description says so. Read each listing carefully.
How big is a specimen?
Most listings give the height, width and weight in the title or the specification table. Check those figures rather than judging size from the photographs.
Does shipping cost extra?
No. Shipping is free on every order at Stoned Relics, and each product page shows the date the item ships by.
